Art Class Project #2: The Pencil Hand

For our second art project, we were asked to create an illustration where the medium is what conveys the message behind it. The illustration has to be something that speaks about common things in the artist's everyday life. (By the way, I never knew that an illustration didn't have to just be a drawing, but all sorts of things made with all sorts of media.) I crafted a hand out of pencils that I have used for drawing, made it holding a pencil, and put it all on a piece of sketch paper.

Let's hear it for traditional media!
